Bloomwork is a floral design studio based in Toronto, Ontario, operating from 108 Ossington Avenue. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you interact with us — whether through our website, our inquiry forms, or in person at the studio.

We believe that trust is the beginning of every good collaboration, and that begins with being transparent about how we handle the information you share with us.

When you reach out through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and the details of your event or project. These are the things we need to understand what you are imagining and how we might help bring it to life.

If you subscribe to our seasonal newsletter, we collect your email address. That is all — no phone number, no address, no birthday. Just a way to stay in touch.

We do not collect payment information through this website. Payment details are handled separately through our invoicing process.

We use your information to respond to your inquiries, prepare and send project proposals, communicate about upcoming events or seasonal availability, and — with your consent — send our newsletter a few times a year.

We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Not to other florists, not to event planners, not to anyone. Your information exists in our care for one purpose: the conversation between us.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors move through our site — which pages are visited, how long people stay, and how they found us. This helps us make the website more useful and more beautiful.

Inquiry data is kept for two years after your last interaction with us, then permanently deleted. We hold onto it long enough to be helpful if you come back — but not forever.

Newsletter subscriptions remain active until you unsubscribe. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link — no hoops, no guilt.

Analytics data is retained for 26 months through Google Analytics' default settings, after which it is automatically deleted.

We share information only with the service providers who help us operate: our email service provider for newsletters, Google for analytics, and Vercel for hosting. Each is bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.

We do not share your information with anyone else. No data brokers, no advertising networks, no partners you have not heard of. The circle is small and intentional.

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request corrections to anything that is inaccurate, request that we delete your information entirely, and withdraw your consent for newsletters at any time.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if you feel your information has been mishandled — though we would always prefer you reach out to us first so we can make it right.

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections via HTTPS, secure hosting through Vercel, and limited access to personal data within our team.

No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure — that is true for every website you visit. But we take every reasonable precaution to keep your information safe, and we treat it with the same care we would want for our own.

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and note the date below. We will not retroactively change how we use information you have already provided without your consent.

Policies, like gardens, need tending. But we will never quietly rearrange the beds.
